Participation Works commissioned an evaluation of some of its provision in 2008. The focus has been on standards, products, training and networks. The evaluation did not include the extensive policy and influencing work of Participation Works nor the role and impact of the National Participation Forum which has been a more recent and important development. A summary of legal and policy developments arising from Participation Works lobbying can be found on the Children's Rights Alliance for England website. The products that were targeted at young people specifically; Youth at the Table, Do You Speak Trustee? and Saying Power, are not included here due to the relatively small numbers of young people who responded to the evaluation.
