Your rights to be heard when you are in contact with the police and the courts

This guide helps children and young people know their rights to be heard and taken seriously if they have been stopped by the police.

It also aims to help if they have been arrested, been charged with committing a crime, are in contact with a youth offending team, are due to appear in court or are spending time in custody.

This guide is part of a 5 part set called Your rights to be heard. All of the guides are available as free downloads or for just £3 for the set of hard copies.
