The Gateway provides a single access point to comprehensive information on policy, practice, networks, training and innovative ideas from across England. This is a hub for information, resources, news and networking on the involvement of young people in dialogue, decision-making and influence across a wide range of settings with an active membership of more than 400 organisations.

About Participation Works
Participation Works enables organisations to effectively involve children and young people in the development, delivery and evaluation of services, which affect their lives. Participation Works is a consortium of six leading children and young peoples organisations, is funded by Big Lottery Fund to support organisations in fully involving children and young people in their work. The comprehensive services aim at enabling organisations to develop and integrate processes to ensure the active and meaningful involvement of children and young people in all aspects of decision-making. The services offer a range of tools, resources, and opportunities including a series of training courses and workshops, a Practitioner Network, a series of ‘How to Guides’ and an on-line Gateway. All Participation Works services are free of charge to voluntary, community, and Third Sector organisations.
