The National Council for Voluntary Youth Services (NCVYS) is seeking your views on the needs of voluntary and community youth sector (VCYS) employers, training providers and learners (staff and volunteers who work with young people) on workforce development through their summer workforce challenge e-survey. However if you're not from the voluntary and community youth sector you are still welcome to register your views.
NCVYS need your input to help shape a number of key products and services they are developing all connected to workforce development. Your views are important to ensure that what is developed meets your workforce needs in the sector. The survey is split into three sections: employers, trainers and learners. You are welcome to complete more than one section if you wish. Each section of the survey will take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
Between 2011-2013 NCVYS’s support for workforce development is funded through the Catalyst Consortium, a NCVYS-co-ordinated partnership funded by the Department for Education. The workforce strand is led by the National Youth Agency (NYA), with workforce activity delivered by both the NYA and the NCVYS Workforce Development Team.
The Summer Workforce Challenge e-survey will be open until the end of September 2011. If you would prefer to answer the survey questions by telephone with one of the workforce development team please email Claire Grant or call 020 7843 6451 to arrange a telephone consultation.
