A new NCB consultation event for young people will be looking at different aspects of the upcoming Health Information Strategy. It will give those involved the opportunity to learn about what those changes might mean for their healthcare and it will also be an exciting opportunity to start developing innovative ideas about ways of interacting with and finding out about health in the near future.
NCB want young people to develop ideas for new health apps, websites and resources designed by young people for young people. The day will be really creative so outrageous ideas, sensible solutions and futuristic plans are all encouraged.
The event is taking place on 17 February in London and places are limited but travel and accommodation costs are available for young people and their parents/carers.
Places are limited and are open to young people aged between 10-17.
To apply for a place people need to email mharrison@ncb.org.uk
NCB has run a number of similar consultations in the past including a report and poster focusing on the NHS Constitution and are active in encouraging chiildren and young people's active involvement in HealthWatch.
