Speaking at the British Youth Council event at the Conservative Party conference, Edward Timpson used his first speech as Parliamentary Under-Secondary of State at the Department for Education, to champion the voice of young people. Timpson talked about the passion of his predecessor Tim Loughton’s drive in wanting to help young people, and said that he hoped to follow in his footsteps.
