The National Youth Agency is working on an exciting project to support development of arts in England over the next ten years.

During April, NYA is collecting the views of young people for Arts Council England who want to find out what they think about arts provision in their area. These include online questionnaires and Vox-Pop events in shopping centres around the country.

On the 9th April NYA is running a major event which will link young people in Norwich, Liverpool and Bristol. This fun, interactive and inclusive event will allow young people involved to talk to one another and share their views on art provision.

What do we need?
To ensure we hear their voice NYA is seeking your support to find 40 young people aged 13 to 19 to take part. They must be available from 12 - 4pm on Friday 9th April. Consent will be required from parents or guardians in advance for young people under the age of 16.

To participate in the Young Person Consultation Day, you must complete the Registration Form

Please note, the events are being filmed and material will be used for Arts Council promotion. Attendees must sign a release form to participate.

For participating in the consultation, the young people will be given the opportunity to win an Apple iPod Touch and other prizes on the day.

If you are able to bring a group of young people to take part or have any questions, contact Holly-Marie Draper on 07921 687847.
