Training Opportunity: "You Matter" Practice living diversity and your dreams
London: 21st May to the 25th May 2012.
CFOR (Force for Change) is hosting a facilitation workshop for individuals who live, study or work with communities that would benefit from conflict facilitation training around issues of diversity, identity and community relationships workshop. We have 20 people from 15 European countries, and we now have 10 spaces for UK participants. The UK participants will be selected based on their personal interest, the potential benefit to them personally and their community.
The workshop involves facilitation skills that allow us to go beyond talking about the issues to direct interactions and transformation of understanding and attitudes. There will be facilitated panels and group interactions that will provide you with the skills and support to make a difference in your community. This workshop also looks at our history in Europe, from colonialism, world wars, tyranny, splits between east-west, north and south, to the current uprisings and issues we face in multicultural societies, in conjunction with issues of human rights, community relationships, relationships between cultures and countries to create a shared future for Europe.
