A one day conference for all those working with young people in the statutory and voluntary youth sector, veterans of conflict, museums & archive staff in the East of England exploring the power and relevance of International Learning. An opportunity for museum and archive staff and volunteers in East Anglia to meet youth and community group leaders and veterans of conflict to explore the possibility of facilitating intergenerational learning projects in your area.
The day will include:
- Practical workshops demonstrating how to run a successful project with students, veterans and museums
- Case studies highlighting successful community projects, the older generation and museums from around the region
- An optional short tour of the museum for prospective group visits including supporting risk assessment sheets
- An opportunity to hear how Young Roots funding can support this area of work
- Lunch and refreshments provided
