Information about the course:

This one-day course developed by National Council for Voluntary Youth Services (NCVYS) supports organisations in developing and applying safe policies and procedures when working with young people.

The course gives participants an understanding of their roles and responsibilities in ensuring the safety of children and young people. The key elements of a child protection and safeguarding policy and procedure will be introduced, providing participants with the basic knowledge and understanding to write their own bespoke policy and procedures.
