Are you involved in the voluntary and community youth sector? Share and challenge your experiences of working in partnership with young people and adults.
We are hosting a free best practice sharing event on Thursday 16 February 2012. This day is for young people aged 11- 25 and adults to come together to discuss, network and develop new ideas and approaches towards engaging young people within their organisations and region.
The event format has been used successfully to showcase youth participation on a regional and national level. The structure of the day has been developed by young people and NCVYS to enable delegates to talk openly about challenges and successes of working in partnership with young people. Delegates will learn from each other, working towards solutions that they can take back into their own areas of work. Workshops will be delivered by Young Partners Award (YPA) 2011 winners and NCVYS.
This one day practice sharing event aims to:
Develop new ideas and approaches towards engaging young people in the decision making processes of an organisations work
