YIPPEE are hosting a free event on involving under 13s.

If you would like to celebrate and share good practice, find out about current activities and helpful resources, or ask advice about involving children in project recruitment, design, delivery, or evaluation this event is for you.

Agenda

• 9.45 Arrivals and Refreshments – information stands
• 10.00 Introductions and Experience – building a picture icebreaker
• 10.20 Resources/signposting: YIPPEE toolkit involving Young People in Recruitment, Participation Works Guides, ASDAN and Arts awards
• 10.45 Play England – introduction to work in East of England including National Play day
• 11.10 Are You Listening? –  this toolkit provides fun activities to help in the evaluation of your service – find out what children want more or less of and how it is helping them.
• 11.40 Group discussion – what are our challenges, and how can we begin to build bridges
• 12.05 Comfort break
• 12.15 pm Young people show case their involvement in recruitment of workers through role play
• 1pm Lunch and networking – please stay for a bite of pizza and a chat
