Get together with other youth organizations to share your ideas and opinions, take part in creative workshops and pick up useful tips, tools and techniques to become a more effective Youth Councillor.

This year the British Youth Council is holding six one-day Conventions across the UK, so why not join us at a Convention taking place near you this summer? BYC Convention in London is being run on the 3rd August 2009.

What can I expect on the day?

• A choice of skills workshops. You get to help us choose the topics online when you book
• Time to meet and share ideas with other young people and youth workers
• A topical panel debate
• Lots of fun!

At each Convention there will be a choice of workshops to help you become a more effective Youth Councillor. This year you will be asked about your skills and knowledge in a short online survey when you book. This will help BYC to tailor these sessions for your needs and those of others attending the event.

Price:

• £46 per person or £28 for BYC member organizations* for bookings made from 1st May 2009 onwards: £51 per person or £33 for BYC member organizations.*
• *Price reduction applies to new membership applications received by 1st July 2009 or current BYC members renewing their membership for 2009-10.
