Empowering Young People
The Final Report of the Carnegie Young People's Initiative

 

Carnegie UK Trust have published research exploring the need for greater and more active participation of young people in society. This final report delves into these issues and highlights how the participation landscape has changed. 

 

The report also contains some essential recommendations on the next required steps for both policy-makers and practitioners.

Top Tips for Participation

Human Rights are Your Rights



Participation Works have produced a Human Rights are Children’s Rights guide and some supporting materials. The guide has been written to make sure that people who work with children and young people are familiar with human rights legislation.

The guide will be available in late August 2008 and you can register here to recieve a hard copy.
