Join Participation Works

Since the Participation Works gateway was launched in 2005 – thousands of items have been listed in our Knowledge Hub. We are looking for organisations to get involved in the gateway.

  • Are you an organisation which supports children and young peoples participation?
  • Does your organisation have resources that would help practitioners?
  • Do you have research evidence, good practice case studies, training packages or reports?
  • Do you want to add information to the Knowledge Hub?

Participation Works has been designed from the start to benefit those organisations which contribute resources to its development. There are a number of clear tangible benefits to your organisations by contributing to the gateway:

 

Your web site traffic should increase

Every time someone accesses your information through the Knowledge Hub they will be forwarded to your website. This should dramatically increase the traffic to your site.

 

Your resources will be disseminated on a key participation resource

CHYPP is a national strategic voice for the participation sector and by joining our flagship project you will be joining a unique example of collaborative working between NGOs, government and children & young people.

As the gateway develops, its profile increases and user levels continue to rise and more organisations contribute resources to the Knowledge Hub we will be creating a unique online database of high quality resources and good practice. Your inclusion will ensure that your organisation is building an innovative practice centre.

 

Participation Works improves participation and helps children and young people make a positive contribution
With the Every Child Matters agenda permeating every aspect of child and youth policy, organisations are increasingly asking how they can improve outcomes for children.
